EDUCATIONAL RESIDENCIES

Gamut Theatre Group is proud to be a rostered organization with the Arts in Education Division of the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts . 

As a rostered professional arts organization, GTG conducts educational residencies in Pennsylvania schools.  Our multi-tasking staff plans and conducts these residency experiences.

During our residencies, we present classic stories and plays to students of all ages.  Additionally, we introduce students to fundamental acting techniques and teach improvisational exercises while incorporating theatre history, literary criticism and cultural contexts.

In 2005 - 2006, GTG conducted residencies at the elementary through high school levels, dealing with topics as diverse as Greek drama, Aesop's fables, and of course, Shakespeare.
