IPHIGENIA AT AULIS
BY Euripides

Directed by Jamie Tyrrell

March 21-30, 2008

The Greek fleet is waiting to set sail on the dubious venture of retrieving Helen of Troy, but the gods demand a sacrifice. Their general, Agamemnon, must choose between maintaining his position and, by extension, the stability of the newly united Greece OR killing his beloved daughter, Iphigenia.  When politics become personal, how far are we willing to go?

This production features an all-female cast and crew, and is part of SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day on March 29. This new international holiday celebrates women artists on the last Saturday of Women's History Month (March). Click the logo below for more info!
