Krista Carter

Krista joined Gamut in June of 2007 upon graduating with a BFA in Theatre from Marshall University in Huntington, WV.  While at Marshall, she played a variety of roles including Calpurnia in To Kill a Mockingbird, Cleopatra in Shakespeare's Women, Hannah in Little Women, a tribe member in Hair and most recently, Jessie in ‘Night Mother .

While at Marshall, Krista was also a member of the Pickled Pepper Players, the touring Children's Theatre troupe at Marshall. In November of 2005, she traveled with the group to Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama on the Gulf Coast Relief Tour where they performed for hundreds of young victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Last summer, Krista completed an acting internship at Contemporary Stage Company in Wilmington, Delaware.

Krista is currently a Core Company Member of the Gamut Theatre Group and Resident Theatre Manager.
