Volunteer for Gamut
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Gamut Theatre Group!
There are many tasks that are required to run a theatre - the acting you see on
stage is really just a fraction of what goes on. The phone needs to be answered,
the carpets vacuumed, and the trash must be taken out, just to name a few things.
At Gamut, our actors are also our staff; they must try to rehearse for
performances while creating the sets and costumes, selling the tickets, moving
the chairs ... all the things it takes to run a theatre. This is where our volunteers come in. Volunteer tasks may not all be glamorous,
but they are essential to helping us to do more, and to do it even better. You help the actors and staff to do what they do best -
produce quality theatre - by taking care of the "little stuff." And sometimes the big stuff, too!

WHAT YOU RECEIVE IN RETURN
We will be setting up a volunteer benefits program that may include rewards like honorary memberships, discounts on theatre class
admission, your name in program(s), discounts on or free merchandise, and/or free admission(s) to performances.
All prospective volunteers are asked to attend an interview. Training or instruction will be provided if necessary. Not everyone is right
for every task, of course. We'll try our best to match you to the one that best suits your interest(s), skills, talents, and availability.
